planning her escape????

Kylee loves to look out the sliding glass door at the Walsh's. She sees Sonny (the dog) go in and out of it all day..... I wonder if she is planning her escape?

9 month check up

Kylee had her 9 month check up on Wednesday (1/21) and is doing great. She was 27 3/4 inches and 21 lbs. The pic is of her and Dr. Nair, we love our pediatrician!

Kylee popped out another tooth Thursday (1/22). It was the top left and I think she is working on the other one too. She had been a bit cranky and extra drooly the last few days. It's a good thing she is getting more teeth because she love to eat. She got the okay to pretty much eat what ever she wants as far as real food goes. We had started giving her real food around the 1st of the year and she LOVES it. You can not eat in front of her unless you plan on sharing.... she begs like a dog!

She is learning so much so fast it blows my mind! She learned patty cake, high 5 and so big all in the last week! She is so close to walking on her own, she walks along all the furniture and I know that she is going to let go and take off running any day now. She is in to EVERYTHING! and I mean EVERYTHING! she keeps us busy and on our toes that for sure.

Using the Walker

Freida uses a walker to help her get around. Kylee thinks it's a good idea too! It is kinda long but the ending is way cute!

Bubbles

Here is Miss Kylee Bubbles. We were playing in the tub and it had a ton of bubbles so I was trying to make her hair.

We got a bunch of snow on Sat. so Kylee and I stayed in and played all day... and you know me I gotta take pics and video of all that she does. She is at a really fun stage right now. You will see her dance, pull herself up, get back down and wave! She is so stinkin cute even if I do say so myself! This one is of her "dancing" w/ her bear.

Eating "Real" Food

So now that she is hooked on veggies and dip we thought we would try and give her some other "real" food too and she loves it! Mike started it at lunch yesterday by giving her green beans and there is no going back! She can eat most anything... she was eating a grilled ham & cheese sandwich today at lunch, Freida was having one and she wanted one too. I broke it up into tiny tiny pieces and she went to town. Also if you put the Jarred baby food on her spoon she will fed herself! Look out world we have a new foodie on our hands!

Kylee LOVES veggies & dip!

So we have given Kylee "tastes of things here and there... well when Uncle Mike was here on Saturday he thought she need to try EVERYTHING! Now she is hooked! I got out the veggies the next day and she was begging like a dog so I had to give her some! I guess there are worse things she could be addicted to. Celery is her fav! I love the look on her face! She is saying "just try and take this away from me lady!"

Kylee can climb a step

So I was at work and left Kylee in the living room while I went to the bathroom on Monday. I came back and Kylee had climbed up one step to get to Sonny's (the dog) toy basket. I didn't have my camera with me that day (shocking I know) but she did it again for me today. That lil stinker! Boy do I have my hands full now! LOL

Silly Hat

Okay now that I have Christmas done I can post the silly stuff!

I just love Kylee in this fun lil hat! I know.... she is gonna hate me when she gets older! One day (like 30 years from now) she can have her own kids and dress them up and all will be forgiven... just like I have forgiven my Mom for scotch taping bows to my head when I was a baby (I was a baldy too).

Christmas with the Ploughman's

We had a hard time getting a time that worked for everyone but we finally did it! We got the Ploughman side all together (Dave had to work) for Christmas. It was great to see everyone (we should get together more often!). We put out snacks for everyone until dinner was ready, Uncle Mike thought that Kylee should have some too! He was giving her everything! She now LOVES veggies and dip... but that is a good thing. We did the "White Elephant" exchange again this year.... that's where I got the idea to do it at my side of the family. Once again Kylee got more presents! (Thanks everyone!) Kylee's big cousin Thunder (Candy) helped her open them. Thunder got the Mexican Train Game in the exchange. Thunder, Jan and I played a short game before everyone left. We had a very nice time I'm glad we worked out a time to get together!

Christmas Day

We spent a very quite Christmas Day at our house. We were going to have some of the family over but since we were sick (and so were some of them.... most of them got it over the next two days) we called everyone to cancel. Kylee opened her presents from us and Santa that morning. Mike and I had exchanged the night before and my mom gave Kylee her gifts at Gram's (we thought that it would be faster and we would be able to clean up for company quicker). My Mom came over late morning and we exchanged gifts with her. My Dad and Karen came over in the afternoon to give Kylee her presents (and yes I made my Dad put the toys he bought her together!). Other than that Mike, Kylee and I laid around in our PJ's and tried to recover from the night before!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we always go to Great Gram's house. This year Uncle Scott came up from North Carolina and Freida and Joanie Walsh joined us too. We did a "white Elephant" exchange this year for the first time and had a ball. Everyone bought for Kylee and Danielle. Everyone spoiled Kylee rotten! She had a ton of gifts to open (Mike opened them for her... we would still be there if it was her opening them). Toward the end of the night Mike and I both started feeling sick.... we caught Kylee's flu bug! It was a really long night!

Oh and I had Kylee all dressed up in her Christmas Dress but Great Gram took it off her after about a half hour because she couldn't crawl in it! LOL

Kicking off Christmas

We were very busy this Christmas. Mike was working a ton of hours as usual and everyone wanted to see Kylee on her 1st Christmas. We started out the holiday by going to Great Grandma Wallet's house. Uncle Al and Aunt Darla were in from Arizona and it was Kylee's first time meeting them. We went over there and had dinner. Just as I started to take some pic and Kylee was opening her gifts she got sick. This was the first time Kylee had gotten sick.... and boy did she get sick. She puked everywhere. We thought it was a fluke because she seemed fine after. She opened the gifts from the "Wallet" side and then we left close to her bed time. Once we got home she got sick two more times.... and that's when we knew Punky Lou had the flu!
